Land lotteries planned for Whitehorse and Mayo – Yukon News
New residential lots are becoming available in Whitehorse and Mayo thanks to the Yukon government’s latest land lotteries.
Information posted on the Yukon government’s website on March 3 indicates that candidates have until March 28 at 4:30 p.m. to enter one of three lotteries it is running this month. Candidates can apply for more than one lottery, it is noted.
Lotteries will see 42 single-family lots available in Whitehorse, including 38 in Whistle Bend and four in Logan; 32 townhouse lots to be sold in groups of five or six in Whistle Bend; and three residential lots in Mayo, two of which are residential lots on Second Avenue and the third is a country residential lot on Gold Road.
The townhouse lots in Whistle Bend are all located on Witch Hazel Drive, while the single-family residential lots in this neighborhood are on Reliance Street, Vedder Avenue, Chance Lane, Scotia Lane, and Neecheah Street.
Logan’s four lots are all on Finch Crescent.
Details, documents and lottery applications are available at https://yukon.ca/en/whitehorse-mayo-lotteries.
The draw for each of the lotteries will take place on March 31.
