Maltco Lotteries to reopen network after lockdown
Maltco Lotteries announced that its retail network will reopen on Monday after a 47-day shutdown.
The operator of the National Lottery said it has supported all directives issued by health authorities and implemented hearty measures aimed at ensuring the safety of players, employees and retailers.
Starting Monday, players will be able to participate in all of Maltco’s games including: Super 5, SUPERSTAR, Lotto, Quaterno +, Quick Keno, Bingo 75, Scratchers Instant Tickets as well as U * BET Sports and Horse Racing games (at from events and betting contents become available).
However, in order to comply with social distancing regulations, no games or events will be displayed inside outlets, although they can still be tracked online through Maltco’s website.
Tickets already purchased for the next draws before the suspension will remain valid and will participate in the next draws scheduled for the coming week.
The consecutive draw tickets remained valid for the respective draw numbers indicated on the tickets.
The deadline for players to cash out their winnings has been extended from 60 to 90 days, following a directive issued by the Malta Gaming Authority.
Maltco said they have extended this period by an additional 30 days, so that for all draws and events before March 18, players have 120 days to collect their winnings.
The new draws will revert to the 60 day period.
The company said that winnings of up to 5,000 euros could be cashed at any Maltco outlet, while larger winnings could be cashed at Maltco’s head office after the appointment is made through the telephone assistance center.
