Polar Bear Bingo Jackpot Estimated at Over $1,500 | News
People from all over Green Lake County and beyond will be coming out of hibernation for Polar Bear Bingo, making winter a little more bear-like.
Bingo play is scheduled for Saturday at 492 Hill St. Doors and concessions open at 5 p.m., card sales begin at 5:30 p.m. and games begin at 6:30 p.m.
The evening features 13 games, plus quick bingo and a final progressive game with a jackpot of $1,257 plus half of the evening’s progressive sales. The jackpot is estimated at over $1,500. The evening will also include a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and family fun.
This month’s match will be the first in which the game takes place in both the Town Square Ballroom and Studio A. Calls will be made in the Ballroom and broadcast live on Studio A .
“The Studio A integration adds capacity for nearly 150 additional players, so everyone can spread out safely and have plenty of room to enjoy the game,” said Phil Burkart, board member of Town Square administration and bingo organizer.
Concessions will be available for purchase in the ballroom’s new Jury Room Bar, including $2 Sheboygan hot dogs, fries, beer and wine. Returns are prohibited.
Bingo takes place in Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic County Courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake.
